- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. sweet milk
- 2 Tbsp. (rounded) flour
- juice of 1 lemon
- grated rind of 1/2 lemon
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter.

2Add beaten egg yolks, flour, lemon and milk.

3Beat egg whites very stiff; add last, folding in.

4Put in casserole.

5Set in a pan of hot water.

6Bake for 45 minutes in a slow (350°) oven.

7Forms custard below and solid on top.
