- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 3/4 c. cornstarch
- 1-1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 1 c. finely chopped nuts
- 1. c. powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Cream butter, then add powdered sugar, cornstarch, flour and lemon rind; mix well.

2Chill dough at least 1 hour.

3Shape dough into balls and drop into chopped nuts.

4Flatten with bottom of a drinking glass that has been dipped in flour.

5Put nut side up on a greased cookie sheet.

6Bake at 350° for about 15 minutes; cool. To prepare frosting, combine the powdered sugar, melted butter and lemon juice.

7Frost cookies when completely cool.
