- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- juice and rind of 1 lemon
Directions

1Mix flour and sugar with creamed butter.

2Separate eggs and add yolks, milk, lemon juice and grated rind.

3Mix well.

4Beat egg whites until stiff.

5Fold into the mixture and pour into individual custard cups or shallow baking dish.

6Place in a pan of water.

7Bake for 30 minutes in a 350° oven.

8Serve at room temperature or cold, plain or with whipped cream.
