  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. sifted flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 5 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • rind of 1 lemon
  • 1 1/2 c. sweet milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 egg whites, folded into mixture

Directions

    Pour ingredients into buttered baking dish and cook in pan of water at 300° for 40 minutes.

    Cake will be brown on top and custard on bottom.
