  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • juice and rind of 1 lemon
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 1 unbaked crust

Directions

    Cream sugar and butter; add flour.

    Whip egg yolks and add lemon, milk and whipped (stiff) egg whites.

    Put in unbaked crust. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.

    Reduce oven to 350° and bake 30 minutes longer.
