  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • dash of salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Blend butter, sugar and flour.

    Add beaten egg yolks, juice and rind of 1 lemon and 1 cup milk.

    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

    Bake in a 450° oven for 10 minutes, then down to 325° for 25 minutes.
