- 2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 large lemons
- 2 c. milk
- beaten egg whites (added last)
Directions

1In large bowl, cream the sugar and butter together.

2Beat well.

3Add flour and the 4 egg yolks and beat well.

4Add grated rind and juice of the lemons added to the sugar and flour mixture and beat; add the milk and mix.

5Last, beat the egg

6whites and fold into the lemon mixture.

7Pour into two unbaked pie pastry and bake at 375°.

8Makes 2 pies.
