- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
Directions

1Cream the shortening, sugar and flour together.

2Add egg yolks, milk and flavoring.

3Mix.

4Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

5Cook in cups in water about 40 minutes at 300°.

6May be doubled.

7May be cooked in one flat pan and cut into portions.
