- 3 c. flour
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 4 beaten eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
Directions

1Combine 2 cups flour and 1/2 cup powdered sugar.

2Cut butter into mixture with pastry blender.

3Spoon mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan; press down evenly.

4Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Combine 1 cup flour and baking powder.

5Add eggs, 2 cups sugar and lemon juice.

6Beat well. Pour over baked crust and bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until lightly browned and set.

7Sprinkle with 1/4 cup powdered sugar and cut into bars when cool.

8Yield: 2 dozen.
