- 1 c butter
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 1 egg,beaten
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice concentrate
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp grated lemon rind
- 2 1/2 c cake flour
- 3 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- few drops of yellow food coloring
Directions

11. Blend together butter and cream cheese; add sugar and cream thoroughly until fluffy.

22. Combine egg, lemon juice, lemon rind and yellow food coloring. Add to butter mixture until well blended.

33. Sift the flour and baking powder together; add to creamed mixture. Mix until well blended. Place dough in refrigerator, and chill for about 10 minutes.

44. Force 2-inch ribbon strips through cookie press onto ungreased baking sheets and bake at 375 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

55. Dust with Powdered sugar if desired.
