  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • rind of 2 lemons, cut into thin strips
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • juice of 6 lemons (1 c.)

Directions

    Boil the first 4 ingredients for 5 minutes.

    Cool.

    Add juice; strain.

    Use 3 or 4 tablespoons syrup per glass.
