Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. water
- finely grated peel of 1 lemon
- 1 1/2 c. lemon juice
- ice cubes
- cold water
Directions

1Measure sugar, water and lemon peel into large saucepan. While stirring constantly with wooden spoon, bring the mixture to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

2Add lemon juice to cooled sugar mixture.

3Pour this lemonade syrup into a quart jar and cover it tightly with a lid.

4It can be stored in refrigerator for 2 to 3 weeks.
