  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

    Trim broccoli stems to about 3 inches in length; peel stems. Cut broccoli lengthwise into spears.
