- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1Trim broccoli stems to about 3 inches in length; peel stems. Cut broccoli lengthwise into spears.
