- 1 1/2 lb. fresh Brussels sprouts (2 1/2 c.), trimmed
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cut an x in the core of each Brussels sprout. Place in a saucepan; add 1-inch of water.

2Bring to a boil.

3Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain.

4In a large skillet, saute the sprouts, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper

5in butter for 2 to 3 minutes or until flavors are blended.

6Yield: 6 servings.
