  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice (about 1/2 lemon)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 cups green beans, trimmed (about 1 pound)
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

    Place butter in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave at HIGH 20 seconds or until melted. Stir in lemon rind and next 3 ingredients. Set aside.

    Place beans in a large microwave-safe bowl; add water. Cover and microwave at HIGH 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain well. Toss beans with butter mixture.
