Licorice Slice

Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • 200 g sweetened condensed milk, may come in a tube
  • 250 g digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 12 cup hazelnut meal
  • 400 g licorice, allsorts
  • 150 g white chocolate
  • 30 g Copha

Directions

    Grease and line a 19 x 9 loaf pan with baking paper leaving an overhang on the long sides.

    Place butter and milk in saucepan over low heat.

    Stir till butter melts and mixture is smooth, cool.
  4. 4
    Add biscuits, hazelnut meal and licorice to butter mixture, combine well.

    Press into prepared tin, smooth surface.

    Chill 30 minutes or till set.

    Melt choc and copha together gently in microwave.
  8. 8
    Pour over slice, chill further 2 hours.
