- 2 cups plain flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 13 teaspoon salt
- 1 lb candied pineapple, chopped
- 1 lb candied cherry (whole)
- 1 12 lbs dates, chopped
- 2 lbs pecans, coarsely chopped
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
Directions

1Combine flour, baking powder and salt.

2Add fruit and mix well to coat with flour.

3Beat eggs until light and fluffy.

4Gradually beat in sugar.

5Add fruit-flour mixture and nuts.

6Mix well with hands.

7Grease tube pan.

8Line with brown paper; grease paper.

9Bake at 275 degrees about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.

10Let cake stand in pan about 10 minutes.

11Turn out on rack to cool.
