  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 2 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 8 c. all-purpose flour

    Sift flour and salt. Add sugar
