- 1 lb. dried lima beans
- 1 can (No. 2 1/2) pears, drained (reserve liquid)
- 1/4 tsp. onion salt
- 1 stick oleo, melted
- 6 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
Directions

1Soak lima beans overnight.

2Cook until just tender.

3Place drained pears in buttered 9 x 13-inch dish.

4Cover with drained lima beans.

5Sprinkle with onion salt.

6Pour over enough reserved pear juice to cover. Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 1 hour.

7Baste every 15 minutes with melted butter.

8Cover with bacon crumbs before serving.
