- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 5 slices bacon (uncooked)
Directions

1Cut okra, onion and bacon in small pieces, then saute together in pan until bacon is cooked.

2Add rice, salt and water.

3Cover and cook on medium heat until all liquid is gone, about 20 minutes.
