- 8 medium carrots
- 4 green peppers
- 2 medium heads cabbage
- 6 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. white mustard seed
- 4 red peppers
- 6 onions
- 1/2 c. salt
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 qt. vinegar
Directions

1Grind carrots, peppers and onion on medium.

2Grind cabbage with a coarse knife.

3Add salt; cover with water.

4Let stand 2 hours.

5Drain well.

6Add sugar, celery seed, mustard seed and vinegar.

7You may have to add more to cover.

8Do not cook.

9Put in glass jars.

10Keeps very well and is very good.
