  • 1 lb (.5 kg). linguini
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) vegetable or canola oil
  • 2 lbs (.9 kg). Manilla clams
  • 4 sprigs parsley
  • 4 cloves, minced garlic
  • 2 cups (475 ml) dry white wine
  • 1 pinch chili flakes
  • romano or parmesan cheese, grated

    Cook pasta.

    Saute oil, garlic, chili pepper, and parsley.

    Add wine and cook 1 minute.

    Add clams and cook thoroughly.

    Drain pasta and add to saute pan.

    Toss with romano or parmasan cheese.

    Serve.
