Ingredients

  • Linguini noodles
  • Shrimp cleaned and de-veined
  • 3/4 cup olive oil (enough to cover bottom of frying pan)
  • garlic toes (chopped fine)
  • 2 tablespoons of dried red peppers-crushed
  • 3 tablespoons of white wine
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley-chopped
  • knife tip of anchovy paste (you will not taste the anchovies!)
  • Optional: one can of stewed tomatoes

Directions

    Clean and de-vein shrimp then butterfly them and set aside.

    In a frying pan pour oil (enough to cover bottom of pan).

    Add chopped garlic, dried red peppers then saut for about 2 minutes.

    Add wine, shrimp, and knife tip of anchovy paste and saut 2 more minutes Remove from heat and sprinkle with parsley flakes.

    Serve over linguini noodles.

    Best served with red wine.
