- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. chuck or round steak
- 2 Tbsp. canola oil
- 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
- 2 c. water
- 2 medium green peppers, cut in thin strips
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Cut meat into thin strips 2 inches long.

2In large skillet, heat oil and brown meat, turning frequently.

3Stir in Lipton onion soup mix and 2 cups water.

4Cover; simmer 30 minutes.

5Stir in peppers.

6Simmer, covered, 10 minutes or until meat is tender. Blend cornstarch with 1/2 cup water.

7Stir into skillet.

8Cook while stirring until thickened.
