  • 1 lb. livers, sliced 1/2-inch thick
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom (stems and pieces)
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. coriander
  • 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/4 c. water

Directions

    Combine flour, salt and pepper; dredge liver and brown in shortening.

    Pour off drippings; add mushrooms (including liquid), soy sauce, parsley flakes, coriander and water.

    Cover tightly and cook slowly for 20 minutes.
