Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. unbleached flour
  • 1/2 c. soy flour
  • 1/4 c. wheat germ
  • 4 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 c. honey
  • 3 tbsp. molasses
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. dry lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 2 to 4 c. dry fruits and nuts (dates, prunes, apricots, fruit cake mix, sunflower nuts, almonds, walnuts, peanuts)

    Dump all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

    Mix with hand.

    Add in water till it holds together well.

    Pat out on cookie sheet to 1/2 inch thickness.

    Score into squares.

    Bake 1/2 to 1 hour (or possibly less) at 300 degrees.

    Do not overcook.

    Shouldn't be brown or possibly it gets hard.

    Freezes well.
