- 2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. light corn syrup
- 2/3 c. water
- flavoring oil or extracts
- food coloring
Directions

1In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, syrup and water, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.

2Insert a candy thermometer and do not stir once the candy reaches 200°.

3Cook the candy to 290° on a clear day and 300° on a humid day.

4Remove from heat, add coloring and flavoring; do not stir.

5Pour into molds sprayed with vegetable oil.

6Insert sticks.

7Let cool.

8Makes about 20 lollipops.
