Ingredients

  • 5 dried Chinese mushrooms
  • warm water (to cover)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 2 turnips (peeled, shredded)
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 3 dried Chinese sausage (chopped)
  • 1 cup dried shrimp
  • 1 small shallot (sliced thin)
  • salt & fresh ground pepper (to taste)
  • 12 lb rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 1 Thai chile (seeded, minced)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 drop sesame oil
  • 1 pinch sugar

    Soak mushrooms in warm water for 20 minutes.

    Drain.

    Rinse.

    Squeeze dry.

    Chop.

    Bring the water and sugar to a boil.

    Add turnips.

    Simmer 5 minutes.

    Set aside.

    Heat oil in a skillet.

    Add sausage, shrimp and shallots.

    Saute 5 minutes.
