Louisiana Hush Puppies

   Blend corn, onion and jalapenos only lightly.

   Add all dry ingredients and mix, being sure mixture holds together.

   If it doesn't, add more meal and be sure to stir well.

   After mixing, drop each hush puppy from a teaspoon into the hot peanut oil and fry until as brown as desired.

   Don't make them too big so they will cook better.

   Recipe makes a lot, but they can be reheated. Also, they freeze very well.
