  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/4 c. low-fat soft margarine spread
  • 3/4 c. applesauce
  • 8 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Combine dry ingredients.

    Add low-fat spread and applesauce. In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff.

    Fold egg whites into batter.

    Bake 20 to 25 minutes in preheated 350° oven in pan sprayed with pam.
