  • 1 pkg. lumpia wrappers
  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 large green pepper, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 carrots, scraped and grated
  • 1 can green beans, finely chopped
  • 1 c. shredded or grated cabbage
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce

    Brown hamburger; drain.

    Mix all vegetables with meat.

    Cook 5 minutes over medium heat.

    Add soy sauce; stir.

    Add egg yolks, stir well.

    Separate lumpia wrappers carefully.

    Use 1 to 2 tablespoons of meat mix in wrapper.

    Fold wrapper and roll.

    Seal with egg white at edge of wrapper.

    Deep fry until golden brown. Drain on end.

    Turn to other end and drain a second time.
