- 12 cup butter
- 32 caramels
- 1 (12 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (18 ounce) yellow cake mix
- 12 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 (12 ounce) bag mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Directions

1In a large saucepan, combine butter, caramels and milk; cook and stir over medium heat until smooth.

2Cool.

3In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, oil and eggs; mix well.

4Stir in chips (dough will be stiff).

5Press 3/4 of the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 pan.

6Bake at 350* for 15 minutes.

7Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.

8Pour caramel mixture over cooled crust.

9Drop remaining dough over caramel layer.

10Bake at 350* for 25 minutes.

11Cool for 10 minutes and then run a knife around the edge of the pan.

12Cool 40 minutes longer; cover and refrigerate to set the caramels.

13Serve at room temperature.
