Ingredients
- 2 lb. cleaned raw shrimp
- 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 (16 oz.) can applesauce
- 4 cans condensed cream of celery soup
- 1 (6 oz.) can broiled, sliced mushrooms, undrained
- 2 Tbsp. curry powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Halve the shrimp lengthwise.

2Cook onion and celery in butter until almost tender.

3Stir in next 5 ingredients.

4Add shrimp. Simmer uncovered, stirring frequently, about 10 minutes.

5Serve over hot cooked rice.
