  • 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate or 3 Tbsp. cocoa and 1 block chocolate
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • nuts (optional)

    Cook

    on low heat until sugar dissolves.

    Turn heat up, when it comes to a roaring boil, cook for 1 1/2 minutes.

    Add 1 teaspoon

    vanilla and nuts if desired.

    Place in pan or sink of cold water.

    Beat until it starts to thicken.
