Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter flavor Crisco
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. Macadamia nuts
  • 6 oz. white chocolate, cut in small pieces

    Preheat oven to 375°.

    Cream Crisco and milk on medium speed until well blended.

    Add brown sugar and sugar gradually.

    Beat in egg and vanilla.

    In another bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt.

    Mix together the two mixtures with wooden spoon.

    Stir in white chocolate and nuts.

    Drop 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.

    Bake for about 8 minutes.

    Yields about 5 dozen 2-inch cookies.
