Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
- 3 tsp. salt
- 3 qt. water
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
Directions

1Add salt to water in large cooking pan.

2Bring water to a boil. Add macaroni.

3When water returns to boil, cook macaroni for 7 to 9 minutes.

4DO NOT OVERCOOK.

5Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Drain in colander.

6Run hot water through macaroni to rinse well. Combine eggs, melted butter, milk, salt and pepper.

7Mix in cooked macaroni.

8Arrange macaroni mixture and grated cheese alternately in buttered casserole with top layer being cheese.

9Bake in a 325° oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until surface is golden brown and cheese is crusted.

10Serves 6 to 8.
