  • 2 c. medium Cheddar, shredded
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. self-rising flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
  • paprika (garnish)

Directions

    Melt margarine in skillet on medium heat.

    Add flour; stir in milk.

    When mixture bubbles, then set off eye.

    Add salt.

    Stir in cheese.

    Cook macaroni as directed; drain.

    Stir sauce in macaroni.

    Put in casserole dish.

    Sprinkle with paprika.

    Bake at 350° until cheese is melted and bubbly, approximately 10 minutes.
