- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 12 cups elbow macaroni, dry
Directions

1Bring 6 cups water to boil in large pot.

2Add macaroni and boil 6-8 minutes.

3Drain.

4In annother pot, over medium heat, slowly melt the butter.

5Remove from heat.

6Stir flour and salt into melted butter until mixture is smooth.

7Slowly add milk, stirring to avoid lumps.

8Return pan to heat.

9Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly.

10Add cheese.

11Cook until cheese melts.

12Add macaroni and stir.
