Ingredients
- 1 lb. seashell macaroni
- milk
- 1/4 lb. sliced or grated American cheese
- salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp. bacon fat
- 1 c. diced celery
- 2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
- mayonnaise
Directions

1Cook macaroni in boiling, salted water.

2Drain well.

3Add enough milk to cover and stir constantly while cooking to keep from sticking.

4Add cheese, salt, pepper and bacon fat.

5When cheese is well-melted, remove and cool.

6Add celery and eggs.

7Mix well with mayonnaise and serve on lettuce leaf.
