- 2 to 3 strips bacon
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can whole peeled tomatoes
- 1 can Campbell's tomato juice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. elbow macaroni
Directions

1Dice bacon; saute until done.

2Add green pepper, onion and garlic; saute.

3Add ground beef; saute until brown.

4Add tomatoes, breaking tomatoes up.

5Add tomato juice; add salt and pepper to season.

6Cook macaroni in boiling water until tender; drain.

7Add to sauce.

8Let stand for 3 to 5 minutes.

9Serve in bowls.
