  • 4 cloves garlic - chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Italian parsley - chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup red wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound macaroni your favorite

Directions

    Heat a large frying pan with the olive oil, butter, garlic and parsley. Saute until the garlic is fragrant. Add the seasonings and the wine, peas and chicken broth and simmer on low for a minute or two.

    Prepare the macaroni as directed and lift into the frying pan.

    Serve with an extra drizzle of olive oil, red pepper flakes and grated cheese.
