  • 113 grams confectioners sugar
  • 1 cup almonds ground
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • food coloring

    Preheat the oven to 190 Celsius.

    Combine the confectioners sugar and the almonds.

    Beat the egg whites until they begin to form peaks. Add the food coloring and beat until stiff peaks are formed.

    Sift a third of the sugar and almond mixture onto the egg whites. Fold in carefully. Repeat twice until all the sugar mixture is used.

    Place the batter into a pastry bag and form macaroons 2 or 3 centimeters in size on parchment paper or a silicon baking tray. Set on the counter for 30-60 minutes.

    Bake for 8-10 minutes until dry and easily removed from paper.
