Macrobiotic Cut-Out Cookies

Ingredients

  • 100 grams Cake flour
  • 30 grams Rice flour
  • 40 grams Katakuriko
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 6 tbsp Beet sugar
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil

Directions

    Add the ingredients to a bowl and mix well.

    Heat the beet sugar and water in a pan, and mix well.

    When the beet sugar has dissolved, remove from heat, add the mixture to the bowl from Step 1, and combine well with a spatula.

    Add the olive oil to the bowl from Step 3 and the dough is ready.

    Cut out the cookies.

    Dust your work surface (with cake flour) and place the dough.

    Roll out the dough with a rolling pin.

    Cut into shapes with any cookie cutter of your choice.

    Place cookies on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.

    Bake in the oven at 180C for 15 minutes, and the cookies are done.
