Ingredients
- potatoes, sliced (as for scalloped potatoes)
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can tomato soup
- 3/4 can water
- chopped onions
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Put a layer or two of raw potatoes in casserole dish or 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass cake pan.

2Sprinkle chopped onions over potatoes. Add a layer of ground beef.

3Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

4Continue doing layers until desired quantity.

5Keep layers 1/2 inch below top of dish.

6Dilute 1 can soup with 3/4 can water. Pour over potatoes and meat.

7Bake covered at least 1 1/2 hours at 350° or until potatoes are done.

8Place casserole dish on an edged cookie sheet to catch drippings.

9Let dish set in oven for 15 minutes before serving.
