Make Ahead Beans 'N Rice

  • 1 (16 oz.) can chili beans with meat
  • 1 (16 oz.) can Mexican style tomato sauce or Mexican stewed tomatoes
  • 16 oz. your favorite salsa
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 c. cooked rice

Directions

    Mix beans, Mexican tomato sauce and salsa together in a large bowl.

    Cook rice.

    Layer in a 9 x 12-inch glass casserole dish, 2 spoons sauce mix, 1/2 of the rice, 1/2 of the sauce mix, 1/2 of the cheese.

    Repeat layers, ending with the cheese.

    Refrigerate until ready to use.

    Heat in microwave or oven uncovered 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through.
