Make Ahead Lasagna

  • 1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce (3 c.)
  • 2 c. cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz. lasagna noodles (uncooked)
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Place 1 cup of spaghetti sauce in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Layer noodles, ground beef, cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese and remaining spaghetti sauce (ending with spaghetti sauce).

    Top with Parmesan cheese.

    Pour water around edges.

    Cover with foil.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour, covered.

    Remove foil and bake 15 more minutes, uncovered.

    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

    May be made ahead and refrigerated overnight before baking.
