- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. warm milk
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. melted butter
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water and sugar.

2Let sit.

3Measure dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix butter, eggs, yeast and warm milk to dry ingredients.

4Mix well to form soft dough.

5Cover and place in a warm place to double its size (about 1 1/2 hours). Drop by spoonfuls in deep, hot oil.

6Fry until brown.

7Remove and drain on paper towels.

8Roll in granulated sugar.

9Makes 3 dozen.
