- 1 pkg. yeast, dry
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil (to coat hands when making balls)
Directions

1Mix yeast in warm water.

2Mix salt and sugar together; add to yeast.

3Add flour.

4Mix with hands; knead and put into bowl. Cover with cloth and leave 2 hours.

5Punch down; cover and let rise again, 30 minutes.

6Oil hands and make 2 inch balls.

7Flatten in palms of hands and fill with about 1 Tbsp. filling.

8Pull dough over filling and close by pinching and twisting edges together. Place on 3 X 3 inch piece wax paper; pinched edge down.

9Grease rack of steamer.

10Pull small cloth on top cover of steamer to collect water.

11Steam for 40 minutes or longer.
