- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 2 (11 ounce) cans mandarin oranges, undrained
- 1 (3 ounce) package orange gelatin
- 1 cup nuts, chopped
Directions

1In a large bowl combine the eggs and sugar.

2Beat until light and fluffy,about 2 minutes.

3In a small bowl sift together the flour, salt,and baking soda.

4Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and stir until smooth.

5Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

6Spoon into greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.

7Bake at 325-degrees for 1 hour.

8Remove from pans immediately.

9Let stand for 24 hours before slicing.

10Makes 2 loaves.
