  • 1 large or 2 small mangoes (about 8 ounces/240 g total weight), peeled, pitted, and cut into pieces
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons (30 to 60 g) sugar
  • 2 teaspoons rum
  • 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lime juice

Directions

    In a food processor fitted with the metal blade or in a blender, puree the mango pieces with the water, 2 tablespoons of the sugar, the rum, and lime juice.

    Taste for sweetness and add more sugar, if desired.
